We lost Rupert many years ago, not long after we finished at Bedales. My best wishes are with those left behind.

Always a generous and gentle soul, Rupert was one of those who did 'The Test' at the same time I did. I remember him as highly intelligent, with a quick humour and, l imagined, a luminous future. I was shocked and extremely saddened when I heard of his death.

Somewhere, I have a photograph of Hayley Ridout and Rupert in the 6.1 common room. Rupert is dangling a toy rat from his fingers! I must try to find the picture and add it to this page, if his family agrees.
