Adam moved to California in the late 60s, soon after we finished at Bedales. He studied Poetry at Santa Cruz and began teaching the subject soon after that. He is still teaching, in a small university and is the only working poet I know. He has published several collections of his work and, last time I heard from him, was working on a novel.
It was good to see Adam a couple of Summers ago, looking extremely fit and healthy.
Latest news is that, on January 6th 2003, Adam married Shera. This is not, by any means, his first marriage...but experience will, I am certain, make it his best! Congratulations to you both and I'm looking forward to some pictures. Hello, too, to Raphael, Adam's son, who is already an excellent draughtsman, according to his father.
